JAMES BARLOW’S ‘STEALS OF THE MONTH’ FOR MARCH 2015

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

This time of the year is chalked full of great deals with the impending summer season. One can find great value that isn’t always available throughout the year.  I have focused on several wines that are an amazing value and should usually be at a higher price.  Enjoy!

Vallobera ‘Pago Malarina’ Tempranillo 2011

Rioja, Spain

Cash Price $9.99

Delicously rich red cherries and red berries sink into notes of vanilla and cedar.  The finish offers raspberry, currant, and cream. Full bodied and ready to drink!

Domaine de Cassagnole White Blend 2013

Gascogne, France

Cash Price $9.99

This is the best vintage that I have tasted from this winery. Ugni Blanc and Colombard blend that offers flavors citrus lemon, pineapple, and melon. No oak, with clean, zesty acids.

Aquilo Pinot Noir 2013

California

Cash Price $9.49

Silky smooth, Aquilo shows red cherries and raspberries with just a touch of red flowers.  Notes of vanilla, cream, and cola sit on a soft, yet lingering finish! Awesome Value Pinot!

Thank You,

James C. Barlow
