Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am planning on offering two hour wine education courses this year on some of the premier wine regions of the world to be held at the Spec’s Oak Ridge North location. I would like to know how many people would be interested in taking these courses. They will be held on Tuesday nights from 6-8pm. The Fee will be $75 per person. I will teach on the basics of the region ie. varietals, terroir, wine making techniques, oak aging etc… We will also taste classic wines of the region. Finger foods will be provided. I would like a minimum of 15 people to teach the class with a maximum of 4o people. RSVP to jamesbarlow25@hotmail.com.
Possible Classes for the four months:
Bordeaux 101- 2nd week of March
Tuscany 101- 2nd week of April
Rioja 101- 2nd week of May
Burgundy 101- 2nd week of June
STEALS OF THE MONTH FOR JANUARY 2015
BruMont Merlot-Tannat Red Blend 2014
Gascogne, France
Cash Price $9.99
Brumont is an affable table wine that is perfect for any day that ends in Y. Flavors of juicy red cherries and bramble touch into smooth tannins and touches of black pepper.
Arabella Chenin Blanc 2015
Western Cape, South Africa
Cash Price $8.99
I love South African Chenin Blanc (formerly Steen). Racy flavors of tropical bubble gum, guava and bananas play into medium acidity. Un-oaked and absolutely refreshing white.
CastellBlanc Semi-Seco Sparkling N/V
Cava, Spain
Cash Price $7.99
I love Cava for everyday sparkling. Semi-Dry with notes of fresh wild flowers and touches of baked bread on a window sill. Candied fruit cocktail fill the finish with hints of butter.
Thank You,

James,
The first class that I would be interested in is the Tuscany class.
