The best, and most expensive, Chardonnay in the world comes from the prestigious Burgundy region in France.  As you all know if you read this blog, I became a Bourgogne Wine Ambassador earlier this year.  I am excited to give you a ‘light bulb’ experience with Chardonnay.  In this class we will focus on VALUE Chardonnay’s in the Southern region of Burgundy called the Macon.  Many of you have drunk of Pouilly-Fuisse, yes?  If so, you have supped of a wine in the Maconnais.  So please join me as I guide you through this amazingly diverse region with a Focus on Chardonnay.  Did you know that the Maconnais has a town called Chardonnay?!?!?
